Cider, rum and cinnamon punch Recipe

  • 6 large apples, diced
  • 1 litre/1 pint 15fl oz cider
  • 250ml/8žfl oz dark rum
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 3 star anise
  • 1 litre/1 pint 15fl oz water
  • 100g/3½oz sugar
  1. Place all the ingredients in a pan, except the rum. Cook slowly for one hour 15 minutes, then add the rum. Serve warm or cold.
