Chicken Bogg Recipe

  • 2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves – cut into chunks
  • 1 pound smoked beef sausage, cut into chunks
  • 1 pound pork sausage
  • 2 large onions, quartered
  • 4 cups instant white rice
  • salt and pepper to taste
  1. Place the chicken, smoked sausage, pork sausage and onions into a large pot. Fill with enough water to cover them all by 3 inches. Season with a little salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, cover and cook for 1 hour. Stir in the rice, and turn off heat. Let stand covered for 5 minutes to cook the rice.
