  • 1/4 pound snow peas, trimmed and the strings discarded
  • 1 teaspoon unsalted butter
  1. In a large saucepan of boiling salted water blanch the snow peas for 1 minute, or until they are crisp-tender. Drain the snow peas well and in a bowl toss them with the butter.
