Butter Crimp Cookies Recipe

  • 1 pound Melt® Organic Buttery Spread at room temperature
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Cookie press
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Using an electric mixer, blend Melt(R), egg and vanilla until well mixed.
  3. Whisk salt and flour together. Slowly add salt and flour mixture 1 cup at a time. Gently knead dough and put section into cookie press.
  4. Crank out dough onto ungreased cookie sheet using the star form into long snakes. Break up snakes and form dough into little ribbons.
  5. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden.
