BUSHS® Texas Chili Pie Recipe

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 (16 ounce) can BUSH'S® Pinto Beans, drained
  • 2 (14.5 ounce) cans Mexican seasoned tomatoes
  • 1 cup White Lily Self Rising Cornmeal Mix
  • 1/2 cup shredded taco seasoned Cheddar cheese
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. Brown ground beef in 10-inch cast iron or oven-ready skillet. Drain. Add beans and tomatoes. Simmer over medium heat.
  3. In bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Pour over mixture in skillet.
  4. Bake 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
