Brians Chili En Fuego Recipe

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup yellow or white onion, chopped
  • 1 (25 ounce) container chili – without beans
  • 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans (or chili beans)
  • 1 (15 ounce) can dark red kidney beans
  • 1 (15 ounce) can chili (hot)
  • 1 (15 ounce) can stewed tomatoes (crushed)
  • 1 (15 ounce) can black beans
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 2 jalapeno peppers, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper
  1. Cook beef and onions till brown; drain grease.
  2. While the beef is cooking combine the rest of the ingredients in a big pot (at least 5-qt.) and stir thoroughly. Add beef and onions.
  3. Cook on low-med. heat (2-3 on scale of 10) for 1 hour, stirring occasionally (every ten minutes).
