- 4 oz cream cheese, softened 125 g
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, softened 75 mL
- 1 tsp vanilla extract 5 mL
- 1½ cups confectioner’s (icing) sugar, sifted 375 mL
- 1 tbsp milk 15 mL
- In a mixer bowl fitted with paddle attachment, whip cream cheese and butter until smooth, for 3 minutes. Gradually add vanilla, confectioner’s sugar and milk, mixing on low speed until it starts to cream together, about 3 minutes. Increase speed and beat until light and fluffy, for 2 minutes.

- Breakfast Roll Cream Cheese Drizzle: For a thinner icing, add an extra 1 1/2 tbsp (22 mL) milk to icing.
