- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 3/4 cup white karo syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 tablespoons bourbon
- 1/2 cup pecans
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 pre-made pie crust
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Cream butter by hand, then gradually add in sugar followed by eggs.
- Next stir in syrup, salt, vanilla and bourbon.
- Add pecans and chocolate chips, stir well and pour into crust.
- Bake 40 – 50 minutes or until top of pie is golden brown.
