Bloody Mary—Saratoga Style Recipe

  • 4 cups good-quality tomato juice
  • 4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
  • 2 teaspoons celery salt
  • 1 ½ teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons Tabasco sauce
  • 8 ounces vodka
  • Juice of ½ lime
  • Celery ribs, cleaned and trimmed, for garnish
  • Lime wedges, for garnish
  1. In a large pitcher, mix together the tomato juice, Worcestershire, horseradish, celery salt, pepper, Tabasco, and vodka. Stir until all of the ingredients are mixed well. Just before serving, add the lime juice. Pour into tall glasses filled with ice. Garnish with a celery rib and a lime wedge.
