Best Meatloaf Recipe

  • 1 celery rib, coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 medium yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 pound Sutton & Dodge™ ground beef, at least 93% lean
  • 1/2 (8.5 ounce) can Market Pantry™ tomato juice
  • 1 Market Pantry™ egg
  • 1/2 cup Progresso® Plain Bread Crumbs
  • Market Pantry™ ketchup, small amount for top garnish, preferably from squirt bottle
  • Market Pantry™ mustard, small amount for top garnish, preferably from squirt bottle
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Mix all ingredients well. Place into a standard loaf pan, forming an even loaf.
  3. Using squirt bottles, put ketchup and mustard over the top, forming a zigzag or squiggle pattern. If squirt bottle is not available, can spread ketchup over the top with a knife.
  4. Bake for 1 hour.
