Basil-Fennel Syrup Recipe

  • 1/2 cup loosely packed basil leaves
  • 1/2 cup diced fennel stalks
  • 1 cup white granulated sugar
  1. In a small pot, bring 1 cup water, basil and fennel to a simmer. Simmer 10 minutes, strain, and add sugar. Stir to dissolve sugar and let cool.
