- 55g/2oz basil leaves, finely chopped
- 30g/1oz flatleaf parsley, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 150g/5½oz dried pasta of your choice
- Place the chopped herbs in a bowl with the olive oil and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Leave to infuse.
- Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the packet. When the pasta is cooked, drain and stir in the oil and herbs. Serve immediately.
