Baked PLUS® Elbows with Cheese Recipe

  • 1 box Barilla PLUS® Elbows
  • 1 (24 ounce) jar Barilla Marinara Sauce
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 16 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup pitted kalamata olives, halved
  • 1/3 cup grated Romano cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
  2. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch glass baking dish.
  3. Combine olive oil, Italian Baking Sauce, ricotta cheese, olives, Romano cheese, basil and 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese in a large glass bowl. Mix well.
  4. Cook PLUS(R) Elbows according to package cooking time.
  5. Drain and add to glass bowl. Mix well.
  6. Spoon mixture into a 9×13-inch baking dish. Top with remaining mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake for 20-30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.
