- 1 (16 ounce) package penne pasta
- 1 (18 ounce) package fully cooked chicken marinara strips cut in half
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup sliced black olives
- 2 teaspoons basil flakes
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
- 2 teaspoons parsley flakes
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Prepare pasta according to instructions on the package. Drain and return to cooking pot.
- Toss chicken and marinara sauce with pasta, olives and basil. Mix in 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Transfer to baking dish and top with a layer of mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese and parsley flakes.
- Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes or until top is lightly browned.
- Remove from oven and let sit 5 minutes before serving.
