Baked figs with Stilton Recipe

  • 2 figs, cut open
  • 55g/2oz Stilton cheese
  • balsamic vinegar
  • olive oil
  • mixed salad leaves, to serve
  1. Preheat the oven to 200C/400F/Gas 6.
  2. Stuff each fig with a wedge of Stilton and press halves back together.
  3. Place on a baking tray and drizzle with balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Place into the oven for eight to ten minutes, until hot and bubbling.
  4. Remove from the oven and serve with a mixed salad.
