- 1/2 ounce anise liqueur (like Herbsaint)
- 1 1/2 ounces rye whiskey
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 3 dashes Peychaud's bitters
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- Lemon twist, for garnish
